“Victory’s staff and students made me feel, as I had been part of the program for years with in minutes of being there.” After researching numerous martial arts facilities in the Cook/Dupage area, I found Victory to be a truly authentic facility with amazing people. These people not only include the staff, but the members as well. On my first class I felt welcomed and comfortable with everyone. After nearly five years of hesitation to join any martial arts program, I feel I made an outstanding choice. The biggest obstacle for potential members is that first class. Doing anything the first time is always the hardest. Victory’s staff and students made me feel, as I had been part of the program for years with in minutes of being there. When seeking a place to train you should be looking for a place that your comfortable in. There are numerous other “cookie cutter” facilities out there, however they seem to be financially driven. Most of these strip mall martial arts complexes made promises of a black belt within 18 months of joining. While this seems like a great idea, remember you get what you pay for. These sites offered belts in set time frames and long-term contracts within minutes of walking in the door. Victory offered a strong handshake and an offer to play with everyone else before ever asking for my checkbook.
